Reimbursement Procedure

Scholarship amounts for the Helen and Clyde Willbern Scholarship are in the amount of $2000.00.
 
Listed below are the highlights of the scholarship reimbursement procedure.
  • Recipient must provide proof of enrollment as a full time student (minimum of 12 credit hours) in an accredited institution of higher learning for the fall semester (same year as award) and the following spring semester
  • Recipient will receive reimbursement for one-half of the proceeds ($1000.00) at the beginning of the fall semester and the remaining one-half ($1000.00) at the beginning of the spring semester
  • To be eligible for reimbursement the spring semester, recipient must provide proof of maintaining a 2.0 GPA or higher in the prior fall semester and proof of enrollment as a full time student for the spring semester (minimum of 12 credit hours)
  • Submit copies of receipts with your proper documentation to:

  • Items to include:
    • Your contact Information: cell / e-mail address / mailing address
    • Proper documentation as listed above
    • Copies of receipts with brief explanation of what the expense was for
      (example: $250.00 - books, $750.00 - tuition)
    • Self addressed envelope
  • Eligible expenses: Books, tuition and class fees.  Ineligible expenses are housing, meals, personal expenses, supplies and anything that is not directly related to the classroom.
  • Any balance or the student’s account not used within a two year time period will be returned to the fund. The two year time period maybe extended by the board if a review of the circumstances are accepted as valid.
